Yep not sure I'm buying these numbers, lots of states just ask male and female, there is no way to get all of the data needed.

To put a positive spin back on it. Even if the numbers are skewed. At least The QDMA's numbers are getting better. Gotta believe there's still a trend toward more people letting younger bucks walk. That's still great news. Even though much more improvement is needed!

At the tavern everyone kills a mature buck.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Sadly I think the Qdma needs such proclamation more than they'd want the facts of that matter reported. NYS data is bunk- they formulate based off limited samples and couldn't age a deer right if they counted candles on its birthday cake

In certain areas it may be the case. Buffalo co. Wis. rings a bell, but the whole county seems QDM. On the high pressure S.E Wis public land , no way.
