 I couldn't resist.

You're from central-PA though, you know how hard it is to find a buck of that caliber in our region although the quality of bucks has seemed to increase since antler restrictions were implemented. This will be the first buck that I've chased that I can confirm is a legitimate minimum 5.5 year old (this fall) and I'm sure just because I know he exists, he's not going to step out at 15 yards and look the other way. :D I am looking forward to the chase though; I just hope my marriage survives it.

I live in Clearfield County but hunt several counties in the central part of the state. The elk herd has just started coming into the northern part of our county and it's awesome getting out shed hunting where you could find a big whitetail shed or even some elk bone! My brother has found about 5 elk sides so far but no sets yet.

How's the hunting in Perry? Any bucks in the burbs?

That's cool! I've hunted in Clearfield before...definitely some good bucks up that way. Its not too bad down my way either. With the help of everyone on here it's much easier to get on the big ones!

I know a guy that hunts right around Philly and he was texting me pictures from his stand and it was crazy! The one hunt he had a shooter buck coming in but it got screwed up by a guy pulling into his driveway and it made the buck bolt.
