Guess you guys didnt see him shoot the Muskox some years ago? They were standing herded up out in the open. Him and the guides just kept walking at them waiting for the bull to turn right and he shot it. That being said, the buffalo was a notch up from that, but not much. I assumed they used the buffalo to show how it can take down a big animal. I would be more impressed if they just shot the thing at a target and showed its effectiveness.

Another option for people too lazy to put in the time and effort to truly archery hunt.

If these are legalized for archery Idiots will be taking 100 yards shots at deer with these...I guarantee it!!!

Aside from watching the video, which might make me ignorant to this thread, we are Americans, and ingenuity is in our blood. ..

Sounds pretty cool at least from the "fun" aspect, not so sure on the game frontage though.

Compounds changed the sport and now xbows do as well - Hmmm, maybe ban rifle cartridges over 3K fps too?

How many Indians shot deer over 2-300 yards?

I hope nothing like this is ever allowed in the bow hunting record books, makes me sick people who consider this any form of archery whatsoever, my compound is as far as ill go, crossbows except for the handicapped shouldent even be allowed its just flatout not the same and does not take the skill to take game as does recurves long bows and even compounds. I have taken whitetailed deer with recurve i know what it takes. This is a cool concept but can not be confused with a weapon that takes the skill and dedication of a true bowhunter.

On one of our Mi sites its funny hearing the "pro xbow" crowd complaining this is too easy and doesn't belong in archery season. Its fun to use their own excuses back on them. Lol
