I got the shakes before the shot when I used to gun hunt years ago. I got a decent natural high this past October while following a blood trail that kept getting better and better.

Absolutely. Its after the shot when I start getting the shakes real bad. Before then, once I see the animal I want to harvest its all kill mode.

A great by product of hunting thick cover is that things happen so fast I don't have time to get nervous before I shoot. I still get the shakes afterwards.

I get it on a doe as well. I hunt public land exclusively so to me every deer with my bow is a trophy
