I'm just curious where you guys normally see deer entering ag fields at? For me, they usually enter at an inside corner or any draw leading up to or into a field, I think this is because they can use the evening thermals to scent check the area when they use the draw.
I don't usually see them enter a field from say the center even if it has cover behind hit. Obviously this varies from location to location and in certain circumstances I've seen them enter from more towards the center of s field but not usually. What do you guys see?

Re: Deer entering Ag fields
Draws typically in evening like you pointed out. Bucks cruising midday I see them enter and travel the highest points, best visual to scan for does while thermals are bringing them scent if it isn't too windy. I also see them cross fields when cruising at shortest distance cover to cover or doe bedding to doe bedding.
No Shortcuts. No Excuses. No Regrets.

Any low spot in the field funnels deer where I hunt.
