Hunting New Hampshire

Unread postby dagger » Wed Dec 16, 2015 3:31 pm

I hunt NH and I'm curious if anyone on here does also? The hunting here is very tough do to low deer density but I can't wait to start trying some different tactics that are discussed on this forum. Dan Infalt is one unreal hunter!

Just listened to Brett Joy on Wired 2 Hunt Podcast last week. It was all about hunting big woods bucks in NH. Sounds like some super tough hunting up there. Might be worth a listen for you guys. Just an FYI.

I grew up in Hillsborough county but just moved to Cheshire. I hunt both counties, I certainly have found a lot of great info here. I've just recently watched Hill Country Bucks and I can't wait to get on with that info. I've seen my fair share of corkers but I just can't seem to consistently lay them down. Most of them that I've seen has been in the rut and I've only gotten a quick glimpse but hopefully now I can make something happen.

Hunted Washington & Lempster in mid - late 80's - I've bumped a few Big Deer in those areas. ..

Haha it sure is, I've seen to many of them along with a big rack! I did shoot a big ten a few years ago. Had pictures of him for three years and finally got a shot at him. NH is just tough, my wife is from Minnesota and I've told her if I could spend half the time and effort I do out here in MN. I'd kill a corker every year.
