Still seeing tracks of the buck I'm after but with this warm (and windy) weather and being the week after shotgun season nothing seems to be moving in daylight. I've seen one deer in the woods and 2 on my road after dark.
Think it'd be best to wait for better conditions or try to hug up next to his bedding and risk alerting him more so than I already have?

If it's a good buck and private land I'm waiting for cold everytime. He may not even stand up even before dark in this warm weather.

It's an excellent buck and private land...am fighting a tresspasser though and it's a small property private. Have until the first Sunday in January.
