I hope you kept them in suspense and asked for help dragging out your deer!

That part was fun for me. Not so much for them. At least everyone got at least one deer. Of the four guys I was in camp with, 3 of the guys got one deer, 1 of the guys got two deer, and I got three. Last year I was the guy that didn't fill a NE tag.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I'd consider sending a tooth to a lab...those are pretty well worn...it'd be interesting to hear how old he really is....

I lost the big middle teeth in the front. I do have a couple of the smaller front teeth. Can it be done with those? Does anyone have the name of a good lab to do it? James?

Nice story, congrats.

Couple years ago I had a buck run right up and out of the gully I was in, and died 20 yards from the tail gate of my truck!

Sounds to me your shot was a little off. If you had placed it right it would have made it the last 50 yds to the buck pole and all you would have had to do is string him up! Congrats on all three deer and a great season.
