For real, the mountain lion tasted like Chinese food. :L: And it was real good.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I have a ton of my own pics of his trophy room, and homemade videos he gave me.

I checked and have 3 now. Never heard of the slam. What about the 900 club? When your 6 biggest whitetails add up to 900" or more.

I think it was 5 whitetails at one time. They must have changed the rules to get more guys into the club.

No, it was 6. A 150" average. I heard of the 900 from Jim Shockey.

Interesting. I asked a couple friends and they are too thinking 5 @ 180"+

800 club is 5 at 160"+

700 club is 5 at 140"+

and so on.

Regardless, you must be doing something right if you meet the requirements of any "club"

No. The 900 club is definitely your 6 best. I don't know about the one where it's the 5 best. It really isn't an official thing, it's something Jim Shockey came up with.

That would be cool to see. He talks about being more aggressive in his video and not setting back and waiting. It would be cool to hear some of his tactics.

I know this is a crazy goal but my goal right now is I want to take a nice mature buck in every state in the lower 48 that have white tails. Currently I've killed bucks in seven states and hunted in 13. By the time I would achieve this I'll probably be too old to draw my longbow and be ready to retire :-).

Must be a Sconnie thing. I've seen it mentioned on this forum in the past. Did a quick search. Here is a reference to the 700 club (@purebowhunting).

So number 6 falls just short of the 69" required to make the 900  just kidding Spy, that's a pretty nice 166" average .
