Strange here in MN too. I don't think I saw a single buck chase a doe all season but I tagged out November 6th so couldn't hunt after that. I saw several cruising and grunting late oct/early but that was it.
During slug season dad saw a big buck I have on camera bed in some CRP with a yearling buck. That was Nov. 10 or 11. Definitely a strange year.

Re: weird deer activity this year
What I saw was similar to what Dewey and Lockdown observed. My buddy and I hunted MN from 10/31-11/5. I had a 3 year old chase a doe by me on 10/31, but then it got warm. On 11/2 my buddy killed a good 3 yr old 10 and I saw 2 other 3 year olds before dark despite the fact I was wearing a T-shirt. A 150s 10 showed up on a trail can before dark along a field edge as well. Meanwhile, there was a ton of mature buck activity after dark, which continued through 11/5 when I killed a 10 @ 4pm that was either 3 or 4. At the time I was watching a 2 year old 8 bedded in an open cornfield with a hot doe.
This timing does line up with Alsheimer rutting moon theory.

In North Carolina I can't get a cold windy day to save my life. South winds and 65* days are killing me (and NOT helping me kill anything else)! Its not normally real cold here until January, but this year has been strange.

Same here...its been unseasonably warm here...by this time it's somewhat cool. 60s-70s this weekend...I'm going but deer movement is gonna be slim I'm sure
