I'm trying to do some blind scouting through satellite and topo maps on an area I instead to hunt Saturday. I'm not accustomed to river bottom hunting and was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to locate potential bedding areas via satellite photos for this type of terrain. Topo maps aren't much help because its basically flat with no terrain features. It has thick tree's and does but up to agriculture fields. I can attach a photo link if that helps. Any info is greatly appreciated.

There is great info in the all time best tactical thread just above your post. Check it out, you should be able to find everything you need and more. They like to bed on the inside of river bends often times with their back facing the water. This way they can smell/hear behind them and see the mainland.

Bows in the river I've found usually have beds. If you know where the shallow spot is in the river you can setup by the crossing point.
