my minn rifle hunt.

Well, I got one day of tracking to get it done. Came oh so close. I tracked down a good one to a clearcut and there he was just standing there begging to get a tag applied. The first shot was a clean miss. The second shot sent him mule kicking and heading to parts unknown. I felt good about the shot but the blood sign was not good. I backed out and came back the next day. His beds showed blood on the right front shoulder. I believe not much more than a flesh wound. Maybe next time. :cry:
sorry for the brief recap but I have lots of business paperwork to get thru so if it does snow I can get back out there. Good luck everyone.

Let us know if you knock one down.
