Sweet dude! Solid pass. If u get time to draw a diagram of how he bedded with wind (just a quick sketch) that would be interesting to see. Is it big time hills? Or just rolling hills?

I know why he did it.......

I seen Muddy's main wall in person, what he had in the back rooms was impressive.

Although I don't pass 140" deer here in Michigan, I understand why he passed the deer he did in hopes of a bigger one and also how the deer on your wall already can make it easier to pass deer in your area that don't quite fit what your looking for. Many of the people I know hunting can't believe some of the deer I pass up because I know there's bigger in the area, and also because I know if he makes it next year, he may be a buck worth pursuing next season. But I also am an age structure hunter, so if I've tagged a target buck for my area(s) and a mature deer regardless of rack size walks in, I will use my tag to remove those weak genetics from my area.
