How long?
For those that hunt the same set more than once, how long do you wait between them. Found an awesome trail today with bucks cruising all morning (5 total) but my set up was not right and by the time I switched my stand to a different tree, everything stopped. How long until you would get back to it, or would you move on?

Re: How long?
During the rut if it's hot you have to hunt it. I'll hunt the same stand multiple days if the activity warrants it. It's all about the hot does right now.

I would go back right away... Strike when its hot. Yes, consecutive hunts can be a bad thing, but if there moving thru there give it another shot right away. better to hunt it two days in a row than to wait a week.

Re: How long?
If it's a hot spot get in there. The stand I shot my buck out if Saturday morning I sat 3 times in a row, Friday morning till 10, Friday evening, and Saturday morning. It is on a major funnel between big timber and just off of bedding. Now is the time to be aggressive.

Re: How long?
I agree with hitting it again. During the rut the next buck may be miles away.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

If the wind right keep hunting it. Hunting trails is entirely different than beds.
