Thanks everybody for the great insight and ideas. I'm quickly learning here on HB how little I know about deer hunting, but I sure am learning a lot. I'll look into the gobbler lounger (I bet those expensive turkey vests with the built in pad are on sale right now), and the ghillie suit also. I killed the first deer of my adult life 3 years ago while sitting on the edge of a field, leaning up against a 4-wheeler we brushed in with cedar branches... something about sitting on the ground and being mobile really does it for me. And Lockdown thanks for posting all those great shots-- I'm even more stoked to get out there after seeing all those!!
