Nice buck down.

Finally got it done this year. Been wanting another one for the wall! Had a nice 18" wide 8 come in on Friday and I took him quartering away at about 8 yards. A spot I've been Huntin has a ridgeline running above some cut soy fields. I knew the bucks would be bedding that ridge with the wind I had but I didn't know exactly where his bed was. Luckily I picked the right spot just down the hill and connected. Next night I took my wife out and along the same ridge 350 yds away. We had a good wind to put the bucks there that morning but the wind did a 180 around 2. I figured they wouldn't relocate and just stick it out. Well that's what happened. At a little before dark I saw the beast emerge. At like 150yds I have him a soft grunt and he came in on a string. At 20 yds he stopped in his tracks but he was spared by a tiny twig in the way. He was an absolute giant too. I guessed him at an easy 150". That was a real bummer. We've seen some other really good ones the last 2 nights as well doing some pretty heaving chasing. Its getting good fellas! I can't figure out how to post a pic from my phone...someone please help and I'll post my buck.
