What is this plant life in swamp and anyone see deer bed ins

below are two pics of swamp vegetation in my area. It may not look it, but the plants are 10 to 12 feet high. And thick as heck.

What are they and is t worth it to try to get in there to see if there are any buck beds?

Phragmites I believe... I have seen beds on the edge of it, and sometimes within if its not to thick.

Thanks Dan. It is thick. But this is only about 80 yards by 80 yards. I don't want to booger it up now. What do you think of my walking around and through (if possible) post season and pre green up?

And it looks like the inner section has a depression. I think the inner section might be deeper water. Just a guess. Won't know until I swamp my hip waders or not.

Definitely phrag. Tons of it in my area. Look around islands of trees or vegetation for beds.
