How would I go about hunting an area that has a strip of thick cedars along the shore of a lake, inside the cedars is a large overgrown field with thick bush clumps in it then about 100 yards from the bush area is a treeline that is about 200 yards thick then a road.
The only trees I could place a stand in are the strip between the field and the road. The field is a very high traffic area for beddin and I estimate about 20 deer bed back in this little area. I just can't figure out how to hunt it. Any advice?

I added a piece of equipment to my tool box this year after watching Dan's videos. A regular wooden stepladder. Works great in brush.

I think an ASAT 3D leafy suit and a step ladder would be a KILLER setup.

Try hunting in the row of cedars on the ground sitting on a seat of some sort.
Access the spot from the lake or using the lake shore. That's what I would try.
If the brush in the field is too high, try a small step ladder like recommended above.

When we used to hunt the everglades we hunted out of step ladders.
