very informative study...im always wondering, "in a state like TN where the majority of land is private and broken into smaller tracts as opposed to up north, how much different is the movement of deer?" If i read the first half of the article correctly there was one gravel road the deer had to cross in a 1 square mile area? you would be hard pressed to find a piece of land that vast here without being broken up by highways. If anyone knows the answer to this or has the link to an atrticle concerning this question Id grealty appriciate it!

It would be interesting to see how the deer stack up and move (or don't) between large public tracts and smaller tracts with multiple roads throughout it.
