Very fascinating stuff. I was on that site last night and enjoyed lots of different stuff from the blog tab on the left side of the page. There are other collar studies in the blog as well as interesting data like how wind and rain affected movement.

I remember looking at some of those last year. Amazing the mid day movement when most hunters are at lunch.

This is a GREAT study. Really helps you understand how much a mature buck really travels throughout the year.

You have to go to him before the rut kicks in and after the rut.

I feel this is very close to what I see with mature buck home ranges using piles of trailcams. They seem to be the same spots yr after yr... except for Nov they reside in smaller areas than most think.
