First Bow Buck Kill!!!

Well here's they story. Iam setup about 80 yards from a road.Around 7:40 I saw movement to the east around 100 yards and knew it was a buck.He is cruising pretty good and wants to cross the road and go south BUT a car is coming down the road. The buck is waiting to cross and when the car is near him he busts back to the north.Then I grab my rattle call hit it once and it stopped him in his tracks. So then I hit the grunt call...he starts to swing around down wind to check out what was going on.He keeps on a comin and gets directly north of me(south Wind) so I was praying he wouldn't bust me!! and thats when he turns and starts to head towards me. He kept walking towards me looking for the "other Bucks" until I released my arrow. I knew rightof way the shot was not good. I hit him further back then i wanted. So as he trotted away like nothing hit him Iam telling myself GO down! Go down! He made it to about 80 yards near the edge of my food plot and stood for 10 seconds(which felt like forever) and finally tipped over.I clipped a main artery and he bled like a pig!! Then it was time for a pump!I would like to thank all the Beast members on this site for expanding my knowledge out in the field. He ends up being a 10 point with a 18 1/4 spread and weighed 174 lbs. I didn't get it scored but alot of people guessing.

Nice job Gardner!!! Very nice first bow buck, way to get it done. I was hoping maybe you shot it in the Gardner Marsh but sounds like you were on private. I have called in a few bucks but never one that big!

Nice Buck man! I shot a 6 point this year with my bow first one with a bow it was a blast. I hope someday to see something as nice as that in my sights!
