I used the stealth strip cable silencers. They are already the perfect width. Just cut off 4 pieces to cover all sides of the buckle.

Haha I saw this and thought, "you have got to be kidding!". I agree with everyone else, great product. If you don't have them already, get them.

I like the neoprene Yakgrips. Do a search on here for them, thats where I saw the idea. They work great.

YakGrips or do a rope conversion. Seems as though the intertubes have a life span of about a half a season before they start ripping on me and need to be replaced.

YakGrips work great. I tried rubber innertube but didn't care for them. I have a few buckles I trimmed with small pieces of Stealth strips and that worked fine but much more work than simply sliding YakGrips on.

Holy smokes did it ever. I just came in from a road trip and caught a pm from someone on this topic and saw the headline . I try very hard to not push Stealth Strips here, because as many know, I am a BEAST first and don't like to be a salesmen here.

But thanks again for the support, you got me good xpauliber.

Haha. Sorry Lou but I really was blown away by the difference they made. Cable silencers are awesome as well.

I like the product so much I put it on my breakfast cereal bowl. Now I'm deadly quiet when chomping my cocoa puffs.

Just put an order in so I can finish my alpha. Put them on the assault last year and they really make a big difference.

For the Yakgrips, did you buy the Velcro or slip ons? Thanks in advance.
