I am looking at my scoutlook app at the wind for tomorrow. It is pretty constant all day at nne &ne, then at 5 it shifts straight to E, then at 6 ESE
What do you all anticipate this would do to the deer. My Beast logic tells me that the NNE wind is going to put them on that side of the mountain, Then right when you would anticpate them starting to get up the wind does a complete shift in direction.
Would you set up for the last minute wind change on the evening hunt? Seems like an odd predicament to be honest. Just wondering what your thoughts would be. Was hoping to hit up this set up but now am second guessing.
constant wind then SHIFT!

Re: constant wind then SHIFT!
Sit it!!! One of my best hunts we had a sw wind blowing down a bedding point (hill country). At 4 pm it rained and the wind switched to wnw. I snuck in during the rainy wind shift. At 530 the rain stopped and it was full on deer gone wild for an hour. Just an awesome night.
