I'm always scouting for bucks and this is especially true for hot sign during the season. If I don't have any good bucks to hunt I am still looking until the last day I can legally hunt. Then start it all all over again for next season.

Keep scouting! That one dream buck could be over the next hill. All it takes is one sit for those stars to align and everything to come come together. We'll be here to cheer you on when it happens...just keep on keepin' on

I would think it would depend on the situation. Hunting in KY on the family farms I tend to try to top my previous largest buck which right now is a 132" 9 point. Not a monster by any means but a of a trophy for me, but When I am in FL hunting Public land for the thrill of the hunt I shoot what I find gets my heart pumping whether that is a 4 pt or a 10 pt (I have never seen a deer in FL woods bigger then 100" 8pt).
