Getting started hunting the must haves! Good read! ;-)

Ok guys so from what I can tell in order to kill big bucks theres a few things you need. First you need about 1,000,000 dollars give or take. Second-you need a cute wife and lots of camera men. Third- you need thousands of acres in 75 states full of agriculture (food plots) Fourth- you need about 18,000 water tanks sparaticly spread out and last but not least you need about 486 gallons of doe urine! Lol just kidding guys been swamped all summer with fishing tournaments first post back just thought I'd post a funny and say hi! Love everything you guys are doing trying to get caught up podcasts are great! Is the mario on the podcasts the same one I met at dans class this spring? Really appreciate all you guys do and are doing can't thank you enough!

I don't watch hunting shows but read these hunting mags at work and there pretty pathetic. Every article in them spends half the time teaching you a "new" hunting technique that's been written about 1,000,000 times already and the other half is spent pushing products on you that you MUST have in order to be successful.

Apparently, deer cannot be killed unless you own every scent eliminator known to man, scent lok advanced HD camo suit, truck bed full of trail cameras, brand new on the market bow, and access to prime hunting land filled with food plots.

The only product that needs to be constantly pushed imo is a good quality safety harness

I barely watch hunting shows anymore because they just aren't real for us average hunters, they also push their products to the point it gets annoying. I admit, I watch drury DVD's becuase although they own or lease vast amounts of land and push their products too much, the stories behind the deer, family members and friends are usually pretty good. The kill has become basically a write off
