Re: LIVE FROM THE STAND --- 2015 DEER SEASON
Popped a big nanny doe tonight at 5:30 (24 minutes in the stand). Wind was swing from NW to Ne so I went to a doe spot instead of boogering up something better. Center punched one lung and the heart. She made it 250 yds.pretty strange track job I'll write up a post and add pictures when I get back into town.

Re: LIVE FROM THE STAND --- 2015 DEER SEASON
First morning hunt of the year for me. I usually don't get out in the morning this early in the year but I have obligations that will keep me out of the woods the rest of the weekend.
I know the warm temps are coming but it's 42° right now with a slight wind chill on top of that. Brrr

Man this dude is a toad of a deer. Body was massive. I saw him at 150 yds away clear as day horns just bobbing with every step, then I used the glass to inspect and yup it's him. I also saw a smaller buck and 3 does buck could have cared less. I know he's there now time to move in. Good luck to the guys looking for there deer and congrats to the killers. Can't wait to see pics!!

Heading out after a buck I bumped a few days ago, hopefully he's using the same bed. My wife's sitting for the first time this season on a transition line, arrows might be flying she said she's shooting anything in range

Entrance and set up were clean, took an hr and a half. Nothing busted out, the beds only about 50 yards away...I'm 2 sticks up behind a hedge row
