Wind turns about 20 different directions for this evening w/ where I want to be. I'm gracefully bowing out. Heat index 104. Its killing me sitting this one out. First opening day I've bailed. Never missed an opener since 1987. Good luck. early bird gets the worm.

Welp, I was skunked. Had my trail cam a couple hundred yards from where I think "Stubs" is bedded and had 3 guys on cam scouting on Sunday- 2 DAYS BEFORE THE OPENER! All were coming from the direction of Stubs bedding. All summer long and no human activity Yeah well, knocked the rust off and I'll be after him when the wind works again.
