first rifle

picked up a model 70 Winchester in .270 yesterday. I can't wait to get out to the range and sight it in. it's my first rifle as I was always forced to use a shot gun where I hunted until the law changed. I'm pretty excited.

I've never had or shot a Winchester model 70 but have had several .270's. I love the caliber. Enjoy!

Congrats! My first deer rifle was a .270. It was my last too, It has never given me a reason to change.

I'm going to try the new Winchester Deer Season XP 130 grain through it when I sight it in.
