Question
I want to hunt a parallel trail this year but can only access it from the upwind side, so is it worth it. I have a nice tree picked out on the downwind side of the trail. Should I try jumping over it?

Re: Question
Make sure you can shoot to where you cross the trail.

This^^, and DON'T TOUCH ANY FOLIAGE near where you cross it. I practice very little scent control and get away with deer crossing my entry quite frequently. So long as they are moving along, a group of does milling around don't miss much in terms of ground scent.
