Pre-season

I'm setting up a blind for the season opener, September 26th, should I wait for rain or is 4 weeks enought time for the scent to not be a problem. Any advice with blind setup would be appreciated.

I'd do it right before or during a rain...a good rain..notna sprinkle shower...

Deer are less active and the rain should help wash the scent away...

I just hung a stand and swapped a camera card in the same spot right before a half inch of rain...camera should show the proof...gunna check it the first week or so of Sept if I get another good rain to do so...


I've never tried it...in theory it should definitely help....
