Glad everything went well. I hope that you have a fast and up eventful recovery and are back in the deer woods before you know it.

Make it a season to remember with the Xbow. Good luck on a quick recovery for you.

Even when you are cleared be careful! When you draw your bow with your right arm your left arm bears all of the draw weight of your bow. Even more concerning to me is that all of that draw weight will be directed thru your extended (or stretched) left bicep and flexed tricep. Just be careful and good luck with your recovery!!

Next Monday I find out how it's healing, the splint comes off and I will find out what rehab will consist of. back to work tomorrow. Will have to play it all as it goes. Even with x-bow, the spots I go would be tough getting into/out of wahen you have 2 good arms/legs/back.

Arms healing well. Started rehab last week, 1st 3 weeks are just stretching. woo hoo, I can straighten it all the way. Elbow is kind of stiff yet. Left arm is restricted to coffee mug weight. 2 more weeks and j can start stretchy band strengthening. Might have to get my daughter a pink Camo craze and steal it so I can have a 15lb draw bow. :). Just kidding. Hoping to make it out right before gun season in Nov. Might have fk wait till DEC. Can't wait.

Re: I think my season is over before it started.
Woo Hoo, I can pull my bow back. I went to sight in the xbow, and tried the rope cocker, gingerly at 1st, it was easy, no weird straining, so I shot it a few times, it was way off, then I got thinking, with the rope cocker, I'm pulling 75lb or so, hmmm, I should be able to pull back a measily 65lbs, so I go over to the bow counter (at Dutches in Fond du Lac) can I try pulling back a 65lb bow? he gives me the new mathews no cam at 63lbs. pulls easily, so, I'm back in business with my bow. now to resight that in for my heavier arrows. and out to the woods next week. Can't wait.
