early mornings or late afternoons ? Sept. 12th Wisconsin
I found a really good looking spot last December and obtained permission to archery hunt only. I put a stand in about a week ago and found adjacent to my stand location is a fairly large soybean field. A lot deer sign exists and last year for sure buck rubs make it that much more exciting.
No where to observe or scout area, therefore my question is do I hunt early a.m. hours or late after-noon hours this early season?
Before the beans are removed would make sense.. archery opens here in Wisconsin Sept. 12th 2015.
thoughts?

If you can get in with out hurting the spot I would hunt early. If the entrance is questionable then wait.

Tough to go in blind in the dark. I like PM also.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I like to hunt evenings early season. Especially near crop fields.

PM here to. I would also try to time it with a moon day or cold front if possible so that he gets to the field in shooting light.

PM only for me in Sept... except maybe opening weekend. Next to a food source... PMs 100%
Go in the AM and blow it up you just boogered your spot...

He's not going in blind he already hung the stand. If you are the only one that can hunt the spot then waiting is ok. But opening day I would try everything to get in the spot for the early hunt. You can get away with alot if you go in early. Wait and someone else may be on your deer.

Evening for me. Deer can't resist green soybeans!

Hunting mornings during the early season is just shooting yourself in the foot imo. Especially when hunting an active food source.

PM for sure. There are too many variables going in when its dark. Most bucks are bedded by the am shooting hours. Opening day might offer you a shot at a buck that's still somewhat in his summer patterns- with him coming out early into the field.
