I would bet that you would fine the wind would not work the best there

Really? I set up like that a lot and have no problem having my wind funnel right down the draw on a N.W. wind...

Maybe a good steady wind. But here we don't get that much. So that could very from place to place but also think that saddle is to tight for a buck to move thru it. But if there is some bedding on those points that could be a good spot if you work the thermals just right.
