Rainy weather or storm fronts. Big drop in temp almost to nov. Or early nov. Other than that not really weather but early season feeding patterns. Like I wish season opened sept. 1st

Nothing gets deer moving like bitter cold in the late season.

Cold fronts through out the season are normally productive, and rain seems to put them at ease.

Deer feel comfortable when they KNOW people aren't in the woods. The obvious scenario which is out of our control is after dark. What other situations do you see minimal human activity? During cold temperatures and while its raining.

I have had some great hunts just after the rain stops. They can't help but get up and dry off.

For me, nothing better than just a nice fall day with the leaves dropping, For really getting on some deer i like freezing rain that turns to snow, get in there when it is raining and quiet and then the rain turns to snow for easy tracking and makes for a beautiful sit!

Stanley Im surprised at your wind speed chosen, but I agree. Ive seen a LOT of good bucks with winds above 20mph. Lots of people stay in with anything above 20 around here.

This is my favorite weather by far. When Im dreaming all year of hunting in my stand its these days I picture, and the same morning temps with sun, and the leaves falling as the sun comes up. Ive seen the most best during this time.

Nov 1st-10th, 20-25 degrees, morning, 5-10mph wind.

I am horrible at staying warm on stand so anything below about 30 and I am a much less effective hunter. I do like a nice 25-40 degree day that is damp and a steady wind.

I like early November. Cold, clear, and with a light steady wind.

As others have mentioned it depends on the time of year.

Early season and into the pre-rut...I want a good cold front with the temps dropping 20 degrees or more. Often this means its windy too. Its good hunting right leading up to it, through it, and a couple days after it.

When the bucks are cruising I want clear, cold, and calm weather. Just enough wind to stay consistent. I used to think I saw more cruising when it is raining but looking at data from my hunting log tells me that is not the case, I have seen less during rut hunts when it is precipitating.

Late season I want brutal cold. I want below zero plus a good windchill. That and I love hunting in front of and behind a good blizzard. It keeps the competition inside and man is the hunting awesome.
Here are 180 reasons to hunt when it is below zero :D

For me it depends on the season. Early season I like cold fronts it seams to get bucks on there feet. As far as the rut is concerned some snow or mist. Late season a cold front, snow,a hot food source and your golden.

I like a cold dry frosty Halloween morning with a beautiful sunrise with the sound of a buck grunting off in the distance

Me too. Too many aftermarket parts that ache like the devil when it's cold and damp.
