Guilt

Unread postby Dor » Sun Oct 24, 2010 3:59 am

You know you are an addict when you feel guilt after missing a morning/evening of hunting when you could have otherwise gone.

Anybody else feel that way? Didn't go this AM and I'm left with a sense of guilt. I was telling myself this morning that I was saving my spots.

im the same way...iv missed an early hunt before for hitting my snooze button on the alarm and waking up to see the sun shining and there you sit thinking to yourself..i wonder whats running around my stand and then you wonder if you should quickly go out and hunt or your just going to ruin it by getting in so late...its a bad feeling

Yes...I know exactly what you are talking about. I work 2nd shift and it kills me every afternoon that I can't hunt especially considering how great the weather has been this fall.
I will be out hunting in the rain this afternoon since it looks like there will be a break later in the day. Rainy days are some of my favorite days to be out since most people stay home and the hunting pressure is very light. If I didn't go out I would definately feel the guilt you are speaking of!!

Happens to me all the time.......... Heck sometimes I have no other option than to not hunt but I still feel guilty I'm not in a stand.
