No I didn't fully realize what a blessing it was to be able to kill a deer of that caliber with a bow. I have only killed one bigger since then.

Great buck, and great story, thanks for sharing.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
