Last year I found fresh tracks that were of a good size. I set a stand up nearby, saw a 2.5 year old eight point and his runningbuddy which was a good 10 point. I got a shot at the ten point a month later. However, I hit a limb and did not capitalize on the opportunity. Today I went back to the spot to scout a nearby island. Upon walking the island I found a buck bed that shows how these swamp bucks bed and why they bed there. Below is a picture of the bed as it peers down to the swamp. The buck is able to hear and smell anything behind him and visually look and see the dropoff below and the swamp. In other words he has all directions of threat covered. His tracks are 3.5 fingers wide. Below is a picture of his tracks.

Re: Another Bed example
Cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
