What Factors cause a Mature Buck to Bed where he does?
Guys looking for some insite. What factors and their severity "Meaning Most Important to Least Important" for a buck to choose the bed he will be in for that day?

#1 is always security
Once you get past that, bucks have primary bedding that is very secure and still ,located good for bed to food travel.
Then there is seasonal bedding, that is to bed near a certain food source, or in a place that has temporary cover.
Rut beds... Which mature bucks but in a position to monitor doe bedding either by sight, or smell.
As far as factors that determine where and when... Wind direction is number 1... cover/security #2, and food or does #3.... Does can up the anty for some bucks though.

Security is always a huge factor. A buck does not like to be seen, that is one thing to always consider.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
