Anyone hunt Iowa?

I'm planning to do a DIY public land trip up there and was wondering if anyone on here with more experience on here than I could aid me in how the process goes for non residents getting to hunt Iowa......also a link to some statistics to the quality of bucks taken on the public lands would be ideal

after a little more research i think im better served to start getting my feet wet in non resident hunting in western kentucky being i can be in some prime hunting country in 2-3 hrs....i am still going to put in a IOWA preference point.
