looking for some milk weed pods

Not sure where to post this but I'd like to buy some milk weed pods as they are scarse in these parts. Anyone sale then here?

I bet you can get it for free from one of the members from the Hunting Beast. I don't keep any at the house otherwise I would send you some, I just pick it in the fall let them dry and then use.

I know I have some in the back yard and there were still some seeds stuck in the pods. I will go back there tonight and if there are seeds I will send the seeds to you so you can plant them and grow them yourself. I am not sure they are still there yet though.

I'll use the Ozonic Wind Trackers in a pinch if I don't have any milkweed. Milkweed is better if you can find it cause it's free but the windtrackers aren't a bad back up. Just Google "Ozonics WindTracker" and you'll find them. Usually 6 or 7 bucks online or at a store. I think they're advertised as being 100% natural and biodegradable.

I know they can be carried in the pod but I am trying other ways. The icebreakers candy box has been good. Load in the large opening and pull from the small side.
Old school or back in the 70's people had a soft plastic change purse. Pocket sized. Split down the middle. Does that ring a bell? Any guess on finding one?

I pack a dip can full of milkweed and tape the lid then drill a small hole in the bottom dimple with a knife blade and I'm usually set for the season. I make up a few of them that way I have them lying around if i miss place one I can quick grab one and stick it in my pocket.

Yup that's what I use. Bought a bunch on Ebay and stick one in pockets of ever coat or pants so I always have one handy.

Dave I sent out a pack of pods yesterday. Some are marginal and didn't dry very well but should give some service. Enjoy and happy hunting. Your getting the Beast discount so you can throw it around like it was free. It is.

Yes I received them when I got back this weekend - thanks a ton that was a generous offer. Perhaps I can return the kindness one day to some other beast student----- probably mot milkweed but maybe someone will need some mesquite :)
