going under the knife...

Unread postby mattyq2402 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 5:42 pm

no sympathy needed, I'm having major back surgery in the morning. My first two days are likely going to be rough but on the upside I should be able to get some quality reading done. I have plans on continuing the all time TAC thread. What internet resources are out there that would be a good read for a novice whitetail archery hunter? I don't care to read the mainstream stuff anymore, any resources I'm missing that are informative? I have watched and read a lot of bow hunting.com,mwestwhitetail.com, wire2hunt.

Goodluck on a speedy recovery, I would suggest looking at articles on the web of John Eberhart bowhunting. Mature buck hunter from michigan who plays on public and pressured private lands and kills impressive deer

Hope you recovery fast and feel much better.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

GrowingdeerTV with Grant Woods seems to be more informative than midwestwhitetail nowadays, if you haven't already you should check it out. Hundreds of episodes to watch :D

Good luck.

Hope your back surgery went well. Back problems suck, I know that all too well.

Sounds like a great time to dig into old threads here at the Beast. So much great stuff buried in here that get's lost over time.

Said a prayer for you. Bowhunt or die webshow on YouTube is entertaining. Not much tactically, but it's fun to see the deer.
