Questions about a bedding area?
I will upload a photo for you all to look at. The area circled in black is about 8 acres of poison sumac and marsh grass, in the middle of a VERY thick tamarack and cedar swamp. The red dots are a few cedar trees that are in the sumac patch, under the 4 trees to the south was a bed with hair in it and rubs by each bed. It is very wet back in this patch, each tree is a little high spot. The question I have is do you think its a lone buck using it or do you think that does are back here too? I have kicked does up in the grass but there is a doe bedding area on the north side of the black circle, were I consistently kick up does. This is the land that I own. We shot a 11 pointer with a drop tine and a 12 pointer with a double main beam back in this patch actually on the same day. So what do you guys think?

Re: Questions about a bedding area?
Ill pass on guessing on the buck bed as im just learning the ropes of bed hunting but in a swamp i hunt there are deer bedding on or near those raised tree bases but once the water freezes up around them i tend to think they move off into different areas as now their safe haven surrounded by water is a easily accessible travel route for humans and predators once it freezes over
