New bow on the market (Gearhead Archery)

Unread postby dreaming bucks » Sun Mar 22, 2015 8:50 am

Some guys that I know have put their new bow into production. Sounds like they are going for about $1,000. I know they are made out of carbon fiber, and titanium. I saw one shot last summer, very cool!

Burkhart made an interesting point. Look at this pic. Anyone else think that draw length appears to be too short?

Seems draw length limited. Would be easy to pack in though.

I must be out fo the loop or not paying much attention, first time I have seen a bow like this or the liberty bow. I'd have to shoot one to give any kind of opinion, anyone got any real life experience here?

From what I understand, they just make a longer d-loop for longer draw length.

So their website lacks any information. What is the bows power stroke and then we could figure out what length a d-loop would need to be. Seems short even for the girl in the pic. Looks like a $1000 sling shot that shoots arrows. It might be a way to hunt, but not for everybody. I like its compact size for long hikes, just not sure how accurate I could be with a 8" d loop and a peep thats 15" from my eye.
