Just got my 2014 PA buck back. This is the first buck that I've killed prior to the rut (October 9th) and I really like the short hair and how you can see alot of the muscle features!

Nice quality PA buck right there! If you don't mind me asking, who does your work? Blair taxidermy has done 4 of mine, but your mount looks really good.

I had one buck mounted before I found DeLullo's Backwoods Taxidermy. Now he does all of my whitetails. He's a one-man shop in Brockport, PA and as you can see he does great work. I had him do a lip-curl mount for me back in 2012 and we couldn't find a form that I liked so he actually modified a form for me and did a custom job which turned out awesome. He's not the cheapest around but I look at my mounts as a life-long investment and taxidermy is definitely one of those things that you get what you pay for. His turn-around time is really quick too.
