Which arrows are you guys using? Been shooting gold tips for a few years debating on going to easton axis.

I shoot Easton axis arrows and haven't had any issues with them. They seem like good solid arrows to me.

The FMJs hit hard. You won't be disappointed with penetration. You can't go wrong with a heavier arrow. It quiets your bow down too. Light arrows are for 3D IMHO. A hunting arrow should be set up to perform well when the shot placement isn't perfect...

at 414 grains, you should have no problem with penetration on deer. that is a perfect weight for a blend of speed and penetration. mine are about 395 and I have never had an issue with not getting a pass through.

Ya with big expandables on the front its not great a friend of mine lost a buck with almost the same set up shooting straight down and it never pushed out the deers belly he found the buck dead still intact in december
