1st Marsh Deer

Unread postby wiscbowhntr » Sun Oct 10, 2010 2:00 am

I went out last night in hopes of getting a doe and was able to do just that. Two does popped out onto the wooded island I was sitting on at 5:00. One finally meandered into range at 5:30 and I made a clean kill shot at 22 yards. The DVD and spring scouting really paid off! Venison in the freezer and buck sticker for next year, doesn't get any better than that!

It's nice when you can put a plan together, based on the video, and it ends up in success! Congrats!
