My grandpa lives in cook county il. We went to the forest preserve there. I walked right up to 10 yards of a big buck, it just stared at me the whole time. If they shot bucks in the preserve there, they basically killed a tame deer.

I lived in the Chicago area for a while, worked near the Skokie Lagoons forest preserve,

Sometimes in winter I'd go "hunting" deer with snowballs on my lunchbreak. They weren't THAT tame but I could easily get within throwing distance and sometimes get a second shot. Hit'em once and they'd give you a look like "WTH did you do THAT for?".... Hit'em again and they'd run. Or at least walk off.

Nothing to be proud of in killing ANY deer there. No "hunt",just harvest

The biggest crime they have committed is their cute face paint designs. Do people really do that in real life or is that just for t.v.? Are they actually on t.v. anywhere?
