Darn snow covered my blood trail! thought on the shot?

sorry guys just got done quartering em up. turned out to be a spiker. lady told me it was considered it was a doe and for a bonus bucktag! it was only30 yards from where I last saw em thank god. Thanks for all the advice guys next time ill track sooner when I know its goi snow.My uncle thinks the meat is spoiled( he wasn't there) I only smelt guts towards the rear and the inner loin, my fault I popped the gut I forgot my knife had to use a broad head lol. I wouldn't think it would spoil since it was cold last night. what do u think?

gotta do what ya gotta do eheheh. Funny because last weekend I saw em 9 shooters with no shots and now i shoot a little spiker haha. best rut action for a day and a half then nothin . looks like ill be late season huntin .

Adds just a little more confidence. Wish I would have got a crack at one of those bucks ive seen durring the rut. How far do you guys think they travel?

Good news on finding him.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
