WOWZEERRRS! That is awesome! Smart move having the DNR and Law Enforcement witness the recovery. Interesting they didn't spook it off over the weekend? Wonder how far away the kill site was from the weekend encounter?

Interesting that he went and got local law enforcement and the DNR to help with the recovery due to the size of the buck. I'm not sure how to take that. Was he wanting someone to witness the recovery or did he feel he needed protection????

I had read somewhere that he has shot big bucks before and got some grief about it. I'm sure he was just protecting himself, naysayers would probably say he shot it illegally without the warden confirming it was a legal kill. Smart move if you ask me.

I agree that it was a smart move due to the size of the animal. I am a bit disturbed that someone feels they might be threatened while recovering an animal.
