When is the best time

I got this public land I want to hunt. When would be the best time to hunt it? During the week? Don't most people hunt public land on the week end?

Yes, weekday mornings and mid-days are probably best but ya never know, so hunt when winds and conditions are right.

Adverse weather can be good too on public, most guys seem to melt in rain, snow & high wind... The deer gotta make a living out there everyday regardless of the weather. Weekdays are usually better than weekends, but you can also find overlooked spots on most public for weekends too.
